International Distinction in Education Award Benefits:

  • USD 500 to USD 10,000.

International students entering the fall (August) 2020 term will be considered for a limited number of merit scholarships. Scholarship selection is competitive, and is based on holistic review of all application information, high school marks/grades, and ACT or SAT scores. No application needed and the scholarship is awarded automatically to eligible students upon admission beginning November 1. International Distinction in Education Award at University of Iowa 2020 is available for up to four years or until the student receives the bachelor’s degree.

International Distinction in Education Award Eligibility:

  • Open to incoming first-year international citizens (not U.S. citizens or permanent residents).
  • Applicants should be graduates of a high school outside the U.S.
  • International students entering the fall (August) 2020 term.
