To equip students with the necessary skills to understand and respond to global health challenges, the University of Southampton is excited to announce its Fully Funded  Welcome Masters Awards at Southampton University in UK in Humanities and Social Science.

 

All international and UK national students can undertake an MSc in Global Health at the University of Southampton to apply for this scholarship. The students need a relevant bachelor’s qualification to be considered. The selected students will be awarded a tuition fee and £16,000 for one year.

Scholarship Eligibility

Eligibility for Fully Funded  Welcome Masters Awards at Southampton University in UK:

  • Eligible Countries: UK national or national of a low, lower-middle, or upper-middle-income country can apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: MSc Global Health at the University of Southampton can be applied for.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must have some research experience and have clear plans for a career in research in their home countries.
  • The applicants must have received an unconditional offer for the MSc in Global Health commencing in September 2022.

  • How to Apply: Students can start their admission application for the MSc Global Health online. The scholarship application must be made separately.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • CV
  • Degree certificate(s) (and translated version if necessary)
  • Degree transcript(s)(and translated version if necessary)
  • Two references
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have an upper second class (2.1) honors degree or higher or equivalent from a recognized University or higher education institution in social Sciences, Behavioural Sciences (Psychology), Geography, Population Sciences, Demography, Medicine, Basic/Applied Sciences, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Sciences, Nursing and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Statistics/Mathematical Sciences, Law, Management, Information Technology, or Web Sciences or Engineering Sciences.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS (Academic) – 6.5
