Introduction

The Newcastle University is delighted to announce its 15 new Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships to cover 50% and 100% tuition fees.

The program is open for outstanding applicants to apply to full-time undergraduate studies. It will cover 50% of tuition fees available for students from Algeria, Egypt, India, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mauritius, Morocco, Turkey, and the USA. 100% Fully Funded Tuition fee is also available for students from India and the USA.

The university will provide 50% or 100% of tuition fees to the winners.

Eligibility

50% scholarship:

To be considered for the 50% of scholarships applicants must:

  • be a national of one of the following countries: Algeria, Egypt, India, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mauritius, Morocco, Turkey, and the USA
  • be assessed as international for fee purposes
  • hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city center campus for the 2019/20 academic year
  • already have or expect to receive a minimum of ABB at A level or equivalent

Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of the application.

100% scholarship:

To be considered for the 100% scholarships applicants must:

  • be a national of one of the following countries: USA, India
  • be assessed as international for fee purposes
  • hold an offer for an eligible undergraduate degree programme at the University’s Newcastle city center campus for the 2019/20 academic year

Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of the application.
