Scholarship Description

The Fully Funded Queen's University Belfast Fellowship in Ireland The Vice Chancellor's Illuminate Fellowship seeks research proposals related to Medicine, Health, and Life Sciences, with a particular emphasis on using data and advanced technologies in healthcare to address societal issues. The program encourages multidisciplinary approaches and patient-based investigations in various areas, such as cancer, immunology, epidemiology, and pharmaceutical sciences.

The fellowship also invites proposals in Engineering and Physical Sciences, including net-zero engineering, digital twins, sustainable materials, and intelligent and sustainable infrastructure. Additionally, it encourages research in Psychology, particularly in the areas of behavior change, decision-making, and intervention.

Scholarship Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded Queen's University Belfast Fellowship in Ireland are stated Below:

1. A completed Ph.D. in a relevant subject

2. Normally 2 - 8 years post-PhD experience

3. A high-quality publication record

4. A research profile and plan which is aligned to an existing research strength at Queen’s
