The fully Funded Quantitative Trading Internship in Netherlands is open to all nationals. It offers a unique real-world trading experience and a deep dive into the mechanics of market making. It is an eight-week internship program where you will engage with industry experts, learn about trading, and work on projects that directly impact financial markets. Worrying about the Sponsorship? Optiver supports Visa Sponsorship, which can be discussed during the interview process.

Optiver is a global market maker that provides liquidity to financial markets around the world. Optiver evaluates each application individually and offers visa sponsorship in select cases. Please discuss this possibility during your interview. Previous experience is not mandatory. If you are graduating in 2026 and are in your penultimate year of study, then the Optiver internship is a good fit.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • You must be in the penultimate year of your studies in STEM-related fields and make sure to graduate in 2026.
  • Available to start an internship in the Spring or Summer.
    • Spring (May-June)
    • Summer (July-August)
  • Possesses strong quantitative and logical reasoning skills.
  • Passionate about strategic games or competitive activities.
  • Python programming experience is a plus.
