The Fully Funded NOMIS ISTA Fellowship Program in Austria is open to all nationals. This program offers an exceptional opportunity for postdoctoral researchers to engage in innovative research at the intersection of multiple scientific disciplines. Scholarship Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded NOMIS ISTA Fellowship Program in Austria are:

  • Applicants must have been awarded their PhD within 8 months of the application deadline and ideally have initial postdoctoral experience and/or interdisciplinary training.
  • The fellowship selection panel will consider all outstanding candidates, even those who fall outside the typical criteria.
  • Internal applicants must not have been employed at ISTA for more than 12 months by the application deadline.
  • Top-ranked candidates from the initial evaluation must be available for a remote interview approximately 9-12 weeks after the submission deadline.
  • If successful, the fellowship must commence within six months of notification.
