Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded Lanzhou University of Technology Scholarship in China are stated below:
1. Applicants Must be non-Chinese citizens.
2. Applicants should be in healthy physical condition.
3. Applicants must be high school graduates under 25 when applying for undergraduate programs.
4. Applicants for Master’s degree studies must have a Bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
5. Applicants for Doctoral degree studies must have a Master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
6. Excellent achievement in your study.
7. Comparative good ability in research.
8. Applicants do not gain any other scholarships.
Academic Requirements:
Bachelors Students: Applicants with a high school degree are eligible to apply for Bachelors’s Degree programs.
Masters Students: Applicants with a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for Master’s Degree programs.
Ph.D. Students: Applicants with a master’s degree are eligible to apply for Doctoral Degree programs

2. The highest degree diploma verified with official stamps should be uploaded. (Notarized photocopy)
3. Undergraduate/Bachelors program applicants: Intermediate/Higher Secondary School degree diploma (or above)
4. Master’s program applicants: Bachelor’s degree diploma (or above)
5. Ph.D. program applicants: Master’s degree diploma (or above)
Note: If the diploma is not in English, a notarized copy of a translation in English is required.
6. The highest degree Transcript verified with official stamps should be uploaded. (notarized photocopy)
7. Undergraduate/Bachelors program applicants: Intermediate/Higher Secondary School Transcript diploma (or above)
8. Master’s program applicants: Bachelor’s degree Transcripts (or above)
9. Ph.D. program applicants: Master’s degree Transcripts (or above)
10. Note: If the diploma is not in English, a notarized copy of a translation in English is required.
11. Two recommendation letters
The letters of recommendation must be written by the applicant’s teachers/advisors/employers (who are able to evaluate your academic performance and research potential) in English.
12. A study or research plan in Chinese or in English (no less than 800 words).
13. Published academic papers and academic achievements (not compulsory).
14. Language Proficiency: Applicants can apply for the President Scholarship with an HSK 4 with no less than 200 scores. (Those who failed to meet Chinese language requirements are suggested to attend a one-year Chinese language program on a self-funded basis at LUT. Once proven to be qualified in Chinese language proficiency and annual academic review, he/she will be preferably considered for the scholarship.)
