Scholarship Benefits

  • Stipend: AUD $35,000 per annum for living costs.
  • Tuition Fees: Covered for up to three years of full-time study (any prior study time towards the PhD will be deducted from this period).
  • Industry Internship: Minimum of 60 days for students in the Industry Stream.
  • Additional Support: Scholarships are also available for women in STEM and students with disabilities.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Have completed a Bachelor's Degree with First Class Honours or an equivalent qualification.
  • Be eligible for full-time, on-campus enrollment in the UniSQ PhD program.
  • Be an international student (not a citizen or permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand).
  • Commence or continue their PhD studies in 2025.

  • For the industry stream, a letter of support from the industry partner must be submitted. Continuing students must be within 18 months of commencing their studies full-time (or 36 months part-time) by December 2024 to be eligible.
