Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded Informatics Global PhD Scholarships in UK are stated below:

1. There are no residency or nationality-based limitations; applicants who submit a program application to one of the accredited Ph.D. programs in informatics will be immediately evaluated for this grant. 

2. Candidates must have applied to enroll full-time in one of the School of Informatics' qualifying programs listed below:

    • Doctorate in Informatics: AIAI: Knowledge Management, Data-Intensive Research, Agents, and Automated Reasoning
    • ANC: Computational Neuroscience, Computational Biology, and PhD Informatics 
    • PhD in Informatics: LFCS: Databases, Software, Systems Modeling, and Computer Science Foundations
    • PhD Informatics: ICSA: Networks & Communication, Architecture, Compilation & System Software
    • IPAB: Robotics, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, and Animation PhD in Informatics
    • PhD in Informatics: ILCC: Information Retrieval, Speech, Language Processing, and Cognition

Selection Procedure:

Candidates who meet or are expected to meet the eligibility requirements will be reviewed by their selected research institute. This will normally involve an interview, which may take place in person or via video conference. Successful candidates will receive notification of their scholarship, which may be conditional on candidates achieving the predicted qualifications.
