De Montfort University is offering two fully-funded 3-year PhD Studentships in Polymer Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry for the academic year 2022-2023.
This De Montfort University International Scholarship application can be taken up by international and domestic students, both towards a PhD programme to study Modulation of Protein Function using Molecular Imprinting or Development of Molecularly Imprinted Electrochemical Sensors using 3D Printing. The studentship winners will be given a tuition fee and a stipend at UKRI rates.

The selected candidates will be provided stipends set to the current UKRI rate and tuition fee waivers for home (UK) and international students.
Scholarship Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: All interested students can apply for this De Montfort University International Scholarship.
- Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for a PhD programme in Polymer Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry at the De Montfort University.
- Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- The applicants must demonstrate competence in the use of the English language.
- The applicants must have experience with polymer chemistry and electrochemistry, working with protein samples, an interest in chemistry at the physical interface, and an interest in the structure of proteins.

- How to Apply: Students can submit their PGR admission application online on the university portal. All eligible students will be considered automatically.
- Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
- Full CV
- Cover letter
- Reference form
- Admission Requirements: The applicants must have a minimum of an Upper Second Class (2:1) or equivalent Honours degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or another relevant subject.
- Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
- UKVI IELTS – 6.5
- WAEC/WASSCE – C/6
- NECO – C/6
