Introduction

Cranfield University is delighted to announce the International PhD Scholarships in Organising for Sustainability and Resilience for the academic year 2022/2023.

This is a three-year partially funded scholarship available to highly motivated UK/EU and international students who are going to apply for full-time PhD courses at the univeristy. This Cranfield University International Scholarship is supported by Cranfield School of Management and will be supervised by academics with expertise in resilience and sustainability.

Cranfield University is a public research university in England that offers higher education. It is one of Europe’s oldest business schools and a global leader in management education and research, with a QS World Ranking of 6th in the UK and 26th internationally.

Benefits

This Cranfield University International Scholarship programme will provide a bursary of up to £7,920 (tax-free) plus 50% of tuition fees per annum and a research allowance of £1,000 in total for the whole duration (three years) of this PhD.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Applicants from the UK, EU countries, and other remaining foreign countries are eligible to apply for this Cranfield University International Scholarship.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for a PhD degree study in Organising for Sustainability and Resilience
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must have good communication skills.
  • PhD applicants are required to hold a first or upper second class UK Bachelor’s degree, a taught Master’s degree, or an equivalent international qualification, in a related discipline.

  • How to Apply: The applicants apply to Cranfield through its online application system. Students can log in here and apply for the studentship.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Health certificate
  • Recommendation letter
  • Work experience
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have a first or upper-second-class UK Honours degree or equivalent in a related discipline, such as Chemical/Process Engineering or Mechanical/Renewable/Industrial Engineering.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS
    IELTS Academic, IELTS Indicator, IELTS Online, IELTS for UKVI Academic– 7.0 overall and minimum skill component scores of 6.0 reading, 6.0 listening, 6.0 speaking and 6.5 writing.
  • TOEFL
    TOEFL iBT(we accept TOEFL iBT, TOEFL iBT Home Edition and TOEFL iBT Paper Edition) – 100total and minimum skill component scores of 20 reading, 20 listening, 21 speaking, and 23 writing.
  • Pearson PTE
    PTE Academic, PTE Academic Online, PTE Academic UKVI– 68 overall and minimum skill component scores of 62 reading, 62 listening, 62 speaking and 65 writing.
