Leiden University is offering the Children’s Rights funding for the students from Ethiopia, Kenya, and Malawi who have the plan to study a Master of Laws degree in the Netherlands.

The program provides an advanced study of the field of children’s rights and pays particular attention to its intersections with diverse fields of law.

Benefits

The university will provide award amounts to up to € 35000, which will cover full participation costs (tuition fee, travel, living and accommodation costs).

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Nationals of Ethiopia, Kenya, and Malawi
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Master of Laws advanced studies program in International Children’s Rights.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Lack of financial means to follow the study program without the assistance of a scholarship.
  • Students must have a full degree in law offering access to legal practice in the country where it was obtained, or an equivalent degree from a recognized university/law school.
