The Australian National University (ANU) has initiated the Ben Williams Student Support Grant. The objective of The Ben Williams Student Support Grant is to support and encourage students with excellent academic merit and who possess an outgoing personality to enroll to study at the University. The Research School of Physics and Engineering in the ANU College of Science offers this grant. The Grant will aid students who are experiencing special difficulties and require financial assistance to continue and/or complete their studies.

The Ben Williams Student Support Grant in Australia will provide $14,000 per annum. 

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Ben Williams Student Support Grant in Australia are stated below:

1. Applicants must be an international or domestic student.

2. Applicants must be experiencing special difficulties and require financial assistance to continue and/or complete their studies. Such cases as, but not exclusively related to, mental illness, disability, extended sickness, or family issues are examples of those that may qualify for assistance.

3. Applicants must be enrolled in either an undergraduate or postgraduate program offered by the Research School of Physics and Engineering, such as an Honours program in Physics, Bachelor of Philosophy (majoring in Physics), Bachelor of Science (majoring in Physics), Master of Nuclear Science, Master of Photonics, Master of Philosophy (specializing in Physics) and Doctor of Philosophy (specializing in Physics).
