The programme offers an 8-week advanced-level experience. The calendar year has two sessions. The Summer Session accepts applications from January to March. The Winter Session accepts applications from July to October. Participants may come to JINR within two time periods: from July to November and from January to June.
What documents are required for participation?
Participants must submit several documents. These include a scan of their passport and visa if needed. They should also provide personal bank details, preferably a rouble account in a Russian bank. Lastly, original boarding passes are required. All documents, except the original boarding passes, must be sent to the START Team by email. Please do this at least two weeks before you arrive in Dubna.
Are there any specific rules or guidelines participants should be aware of?
Yes, participants should always carry their passports when entering or leaving JINR. They may bring personal laptops, mobile phones, and tablet PCs. Participants should know that security officers may check the contents of their bags or backpacks. It’s important to note that bringing explosives, flammable substances, or weapons to the JINR territory is strictly prohibited.
