The Applications are open to apply for the OHCHR-EAA Youth Rights Academy 2025 in Switzerland. It is a Fully Funded Program Taking Place in Geneva from 7th July to 11th July 2025 to attend a Youth Rights Academy. The OHCHR-EEA Youth Rights Academy is organized by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) and Education Above All (EAA)This Program aims to enhance the capabilities and leadership skills of young advocates and practitioners working on human rights, particularly in conflict and insecurity. Participants will explore the concept of the Human rights of young people and their issues and will empower participants to use advocacy to promote human rights in their communities. It is a Fully Funded Program and there is no application fee.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants from all the regions can apply.
  • Applicants from diverse geographical, ethnic, cultural, and educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Young people who have experience with conflict or insecurity, especially those with limited exposure to UN and global platforms, are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Participants must commit to five full days of in-person training and activities at the Academy.
  • 18-30 years old (as of 7 July 2025).
  • At least two years of experience advocating for human rights, including youth rights, at a local, national, regional, or international level.
  • Provide a Reference Letter.
  • Fluency in English is required as the Academy will be conducted solely in English.
