Eligibility Criteria for National College Match Scholarship

  • Earn primarily A’s in the most challenging courses available (usually including Honors, AP, or IB level courses)
  • International students attending high school in the U.S. can apply regardless of citizenship
  • Come from a household earning less than $65,000 annually (for a household of four) with minimal assets
  • Demonstrate strong writing ability, intellectual spark, and determination through essays and recommendation letters
  • Be a high school senior
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident or a high school student, regardless of citizenship, attending high school in the U.S.

  • Submit the National College Match’s online application, which includes two essays and short-answer questions
  • Provide two letters of recommendation from teachers in core academic subjects
  • Submit a Secondary School Report from your high school counselor
  • Include a School Profile (optional, but recommended)Provide a high school transcript
  • Submit any standardized test scores (SAT and/or ACT test scores are highly recommended)
  • Rank up to 12 college partners for consideration in October
