What does the four-month incubation program entail?
This four-month incubation program is for a select number of high-potential AI ventures from the training program. The focus is on turning MVPs into market-ready AI products, securing customers, and scaling operations. By the end, each startup will have a fully functional AI product deployed to the market, validated business model, and users/customers ready for investment.
What determines if a startup and team is selected to move to incubation?
Startups and teams are evaluated on several criteria through a transparent scorecard system. Key areas include product and market validation (problem clarity, market size, early traction), product and business model feasibility (development readiness, monetization potential, scalability), and team strength, coachability, and strategic alignment with the incubator.
What are the qualifications to get into the program?

What is the recruitment process?
The recruitment process consists of five stages: Program Eligibility Screening, General Application and Video Submission, Assessment, In-person Group Challenge, and Individual In-person Interviews. Each stage helps identify the most motivated and capable candidates for the intensive program.
What countries do you recruit from?
For the 2027 intake, the focus is West and East Africa. In-person interviews will be held in Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, and Kenya. Nationals outside these core countries must be able to travel at their own cost to one of these countries for in-person interviews in October, if shortlisted.
What is the application timeline?
Applications open on 19th May 2026 and close on 20th July 2026. In-person Group Challenge and Individual Interviews take place in early October 2026. Contracts are issued in mid-October 2026.
