The McCain Institute sees the changing global landscape. This includes great-power competition, rising authoritarianism, and threats to democracy. It also addresses human rights abuses and challenges to our planet’s health caused by climate change. It also understands that 2025 will bring major changes and challenges to the global community. This is due to recent and upcoming elections worldwide and conflicts in many areas. The McCain Institute will look for a diverse group of leaders. These leaders are working to promote democracy and human rights in their home countries. They come from different professions and work on various projects

The Global Leadership Program (GLP) helps chosen students become GLP fellows. It prepares them for global leadership roles in their fields. The program offers a chance to develop international and interdisciplinary leadership skills. These skills focus on important global issues.
The Global Leadership Certificate is a flexible program that enhances your marketability in an increasingly international job market. It shows that you can analyze, adapt, communicate, empathize, and solve problems in various ways.
The McCain Institute offers a year-long fellowship. It supports 25 leaders from around the world and focuses on promoting democracy, human rights, and freedom.
It includes training, resources, and access to regional and global networks to enhance participants’ leadership skills and impact.
