1) Full-time undergraduate student with a class level of junior or senior, pursuing a degree in one of the STEM disciplines offered by the College of Natural Sciences (CNS) – STEM disciplines in CNS would include majors from the following departments: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Statistics, Physics or Computer Science 2) Demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of CSU 3) Maintain an overall GPA of greater than or equal to 3.0 4) Be considered traditionally underrepresented within the STEM disciplines 5) Preference is for recipients who have participated or have a demonstrated interest in the Women in Natural Sciences program, ACM-W (Association for Computing Machinery-Women), Women in Physics, AAUW (American Association of University Women), and/or any other similar organization or club for the support and advancement of women (for example: a sorority or Girl Scouts) (Scholarship may be renewable if the recipient reapplies, continues to meet the criteria and is selected by the scholarship committee)
