Eligibility Criteria for KMU Scholarships

  • Open to international students from all countries
  • Must hold academic degrees recognized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (M.O.E.)
  • Must meet KMU’s international student admission regulations
  • Students applying for the School of Medicine or Dentistry must have resided abroad for more than 8 years.
  • Applicants with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply.
  • Students may apply through KMU’s application portal or national entrance committees for overseas Chinese/Mainland Chinese students.

Can I apply for KMU Scholarship and Taiwan government scholarships?

Yes. You may apply for KMU Scholarship along with other scholarships. However, if shortlisted for multiple, you may finally accept only one and withdraw from the others accordingly

What support is available for English-speaking applicants?

KMU offers English-taught programs for 2025‑2026 intake and provides free Mandarin classes. Many programs require no TOEFL/IELTS, though proof of language ability may still be required per program
