The KAI-X Research Internship Program is a 7-week, fully funded research internship at KAIST, designed for international undergraduate and master’s students to gain hands-on experience in advanced laboratories.
Undergraduate students in their 3rd or 4th year and graduate students enrolled in a master’s program from any country are eligible. Doctoral students are not eligible to apply.
The internship will take place from July 1 to August 16, 2025.
The program covers round-trip airfare, free accommodation, a stipend for living expenses, and includes activities such as an opening ceremony, campus tour, and Korean cultural trips.
There is no application fee, and an IELTS score is not required to apply for the program.
The internship offers opportunities in Natural Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Brain & Cognitive Science, and Medical Science.
