International Citizens of Change Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • You must be starting a full-time undergraduate programme at the University of Leicester, UK campus commencing in September 2026 for year one, two or three of your undergraduate programme.
  • You must have made Leicester your ‘firm choice’ by Tuesday 30 June 2026 (if you have applied via UCAS, you will need to reply by your UCAS reply deadline, which may be earlier than this date).
  • All conditions of your offer must be met no later than Thursday 20th August 2026.
  • You must be classed as an international student for fee purposes.
  • Excluding Medicine, LLB Maitrise, STEM International Foundation and ‘International Year 1’ courses.

How to Apply for International Citizens of Change Scholarship?

  1. Create a short video (no more than two minutes) answering three questions: What do you want to achieve after university? How will your chosen degree help you achieve this? How will you contribute to the University community while you’re here?
  2. Submit your video via the application form, providing a link to Google Drive, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Wechat Video or Douyin.
  3. Alongside the video, your Personal Statement and any extracurricular activities highlighted in the application form will be considered.
  4. Applications are open until Tuesday 30 June 2026.
  5. Shortlisting and final selection occurs from Wednesday 1 July 2026 to Friday 14 August 2026.
  6. Winners will be notified via email no later than Thursday 20 August 2026.
