The IACC Young Journalists Programme 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for early-career journalists passionate about fighting corruption. Selected participants will attend the International Anti-Corruption Conference in the Dominican Republic from 1-4 December 2026, with travel, accommodation, and meals covered.

Transparency International, a global movement working in over 100 countries, organizes this programme to end the injustice of corruption. Through advocacy, campaigning, and research, they expose systems enabling corruption, demanding greater transparency and integrity in public life.

Who can apply?

What costs are included?

The programme includes an economy return flight to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, 5 nights’ accommodation plus breakfast, lunch and dinner at the conference hotel. Alcoholic drinks are not included. Visa processing costs are reimbursed if agreed in advance.

What support will be provided?

There will be an online briefing call before the event and a dedicated point of contact during the event to support participants. The programme cannot support pitching or placing media articles.

Are there any conditions?

Successful participants are expected to develop a report linked to conference topics and independently pitch it to a media outlet. They must also adhere to the terms of reference and code of conduct.
