The Forrest Research Foundation Fellowship 2026 in Australia is a fully funded postdoctoral program for outstanding early-career researchers from around the world. Forrest Research Foundation Fellowship Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be in their final year of PhD or no more than two years post-PhD conferral
  • For applications submitted in 2026 (commencing 2027), PhD must have been conferred on or after 1 January 2024, or all requirements completed by 31 December 2026
  • Applicants must reside at Forrest Hall for the duration of the fellowship
  • Applicants must intend to meet the requirements of a Forrest Fellow, including mentoring for Forrest Scholars, ambassadorial duties, and providing leadership within Forrest Hall
  • Applicants must meet employment eligibility conditions at the nominated university
  • Researchers from all disciplines are eligible to apply
  • Open to both domestic and international applicants from any country
