FBI Honors Internship Benefits

• This is a paid internship.
• Compensation for the Summer program ranges from $30,795 to $44,786 per year (GS-5 pay grade), depending on degree level.
• GS-5 Pay: Interns with a bachelor’s degree currently enrolled in a full-time graduate program.
• GS-4 Payment: All other full-time students, including dual-enrollment students and undergraduate students enrolled in graduate classes.

FBI Honors Internship Eligibility Criteria

• Be a citizen of the United States.
• Enroll full-time as an undergraduate, graduate, or post-doctoral student at a college or university with U.S. accreditation.
• If you will graduate before the program’s start date, you are ineligible; however, if you plan to continue your studies in the semester that follows, you may be exempt.
• At the time of application, during the application process, and for the duration of the internship program, maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
• Obtain a Top Secret Clearance by fulfilling all the requirements of the FBI’s employment background investigation.
