Erasmus Mundus TCCM Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Physics or Material Science or equivalent qualification recognized by the corresponding European country
- Bachelor’s degree in other scientific disciplines accepted if complementary levelling courses are undertaken under local Tutor supervision
- English proficiency certificate equivalent to TOEFL IBT 4.5 (equivalent to 90 points before 2026), IELTS 6.5, or First Cambridge Certificate of B2
- Applicants who completed their degree in English must submit a university document confirming this instead of an English certificate
- Applicants who have already received an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM) scholarship are not eligible
- For applicants with different bachelor degrees, certified knowledge in Chemical Bonding, Atomic and Molecular Structure and Intermolecular Interactions, General Physics, Mathematics, General Physical Chemistry, Thermodynamics and Kinetics, and Spectroscopy is required
- Applicants with deficiencies in more than two of the specified subject areas will not be admitted
- Students in the final year of the required Bachelor studies can apply but must complete their degree before 1st of September of the academic year they wish to start
- Self-funded students and those applying for other grants are eligible to join the Master and may be considered for a self-funded position
