Erasmus Mundus EDU MIG Scholarships open the door to a prestigious international master’s program in Education, Migration, and Diversity, designed for students who want to study in Europe through a fully funded Erasmus Mundus opportunity. Each year, the program offers 25 study places for international students, with most participants receiving Erasmus Mundus scholarships. Eligibility Criteria

• Must hold a first degree (bachelor’s or equivalent) in fields related to EDU MIG, such as social sciences, history, cultural studies, educational sciences, applied linguistics, or teacher education.
• Minimum final grade: C+ (or equivalent), verified by official transcripts/certificates.
• Multilingual skills are an asset and valued during selection.
• Preference given to applicants with relevant professional experience (jobs, internships, or voluntary work).
• Degree obtained within the last 5 years; if older, explain your decision to return to university in the motivation letter.
• Applicants who already hold a master’s degree must justify why they wish to pursue another.
• Previous Erasmus Mundus Joint Master scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply for a second scholarship.
• Educators in formal and non-formal educational institutions or organizations
• Mediators in NGOs or public institutions, facilitating communication between migrated communities and official organizations
• Advisors bridging gaps between staff with limited international experience and ex-pats, migrant workers, or refugees regarding all forms of educational participation

• A recognized 3- or 4-year bachelor’s or master’s degree from a higher education institution or a certified transcript of records indicating that the bachelor’s degree will be completed by the time of enrollment in the master’s program. A certified translation into English is required for documents in languages other than English, French, German, Italian, or Swedish.
• High school diploma (secondary school leaving certificate, e.g., Baccalaureate, A-Levels) or equivalent and high school transcripts. A certified translation into English is required for documents in languages other than English, French, German, Italian, or Swedish.
• Proof of nationality (copy of passport or equivalent document; identity will be verified during the interview). Please provide a certified translation into English for documents in languages other than English, French, German, Italian, or Swedish.
• Language proficiency: Minimum C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Language proficiency can be demonstrated by passing an internationally recognized exam completed no more than two years before the application for the degree program was submitted, or by providing equivalent evidence. The following language diplomas meet the requirements:
  • UNIcert: at least Level III
  • Cambridge English Scale: at least 180 points
  • IELTS Academic (“International English Language Testing System”): at least Band 7.0
  • TOEFL iBT (“Test of English as a Foreign Language”): at least 95 points
  • Global Scale of English (Pearson Academic): at least 76 points
  Language proficiency may also be demonstrated by the following qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s, master’s, licentiate, or doctoral degree in English from a state-recognized higher education institution
  • A university entrance qualification from an English-speaking education system
• Certificates of employment, internships, or voluntary work relevant to the field of Education, Migration, and Diversity in English, German, French, Italian, or Swedish.
• Two letters of reference (academic and/or professional)
