• Faculty members and Researchers: You can go for 1 to 12 months to teach or do research.
• Mid-career Professionals: You can go for 1 to 12 months for professional development or research.

How to Apply?

• Create an account on the My EduCanada portal by selecting “Individual” and log in to access the Canada China Scholars Exchange Program application form.
• Complete the online application carefully and upload all required documents in the correct format. Make sure each file is clear, accurate, and within the size limit.
• Review your application before submission, accept the declaration, and submit it online. Save the confirmation page and your reference number for future use.
• After submitting on EduCanada (by January 12, 2026), apply separately through the China Scholarship Council (CSC) portal before March 1, 2026.
• On the CSC portal, select Application Type A and enter Agency Number 1241 when prompted.
• Choose up to three Chinese host universities you are willing to attend. Selecting more than one option can improve your chances.
• Upload all required documents again on the CSC portal, including your study or research plan, academic records, recommendation letters, and proof of Canadian citizenship.
