1. President’s PhD Scholarships at Imperial College London

Are you a high performing graduate student with a strong desire to undertake a PhD program at a world-class research institution? You could be selected to receive full tuition fees and a generous stipend (£21,200 per annum) for a PhD place at the Imperial College London.

The President’s PhD Scholarships aims at providing opportunity with this to up to 50 research students with great potential to work within their chosen research field with the support of an excellent supervisor.


2. PhD studentship in Microgrid or Machine Learning at University of Warwick, UK

The University of Warwick, School of Engineering is glad to offer PhD studentship in Microgrid or Machine Learning. This program is currently open to all students who have or expect to obtain by the start date at least a good 2.1 degree and preferably a Masters degree or equivalent from an overseas institution.

3. Siemens China Scholarship at Tsinghua University 2019/2020 for International Students

The Siemens China Scholarship at Tsinghua University is a full scholarship offered by Siemens Ltd., China to support outstanding international students to pursue Ph.D. degrees in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Computer Science and Technology, Academy of Arts & Design, School of Software, Department of Automation, Department of Electrical Engineering and other related departments or schools at Tsinghua University.

5. DAAD Scholarships in Germany for Students from Developing Countries

Every year, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports young professionals from developing countries with a variety of scholarships to pursue internationally recognized Postgraduate degree in selected courses (of one to two years of study) at German Universities.

The University of Louvain (UCL) offers a competition for awarding PhD scholarships to citizens of developing countries. 8. CARTA PhD Fellowships for African Researchers 2018/2019

The Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa (CARTA) is currently offering a collaborative doctoral training program in public and population health.

This program was developed in response to the challenges faced by Africa’s higher institutions in addressing the training and retention of the next generation of academics in the region.

11. Shanghai Government Scholarship 2019/2020 for Bachelors, Masters and PhD International Students

This program provided by Shanghai government for international students studying in Shanghai is exclusively for those who study for Master’s (2-3 years) or Doctoral (3-4 years) degrees, on full scholarship, including tuition, free accommodation, accident insurance, allowance for a living.


12. Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) Doctoral Scholarship Program 2019 for Students from Developing Countries

13. Rotary Yoneyama Foundation Undergraduate, Masters and PhD Scholarships for International Students 2019/2020

15. ARPPIS-DAAD Scholarships 2019/2020 for PhD Scholars in African Countries

The International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe), Kenya, in partnership with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) In-Country/In-Region Scholarships Program and African university partners, gladly welcomes applications from suitably qualified candidates for a 3 year  PhD scholarships  in the African Regional Postgraduate Program in Insect Sciences (ARPPIS).

16. Princeton University Postdoctoral Fellowships in Humanities and Social Sciences 2019/2022

The Princeton Society of Fellows, an interdisciplinary group of scholars in the humanities, social sciences, and selected natural sciences, gladly welcomes applications for the 2019-2022 fellowship competition.

19. Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong offers PhD Fellowship to International students 2019/2020

The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS), established in 2009 by the Research Grants Council (RGC), aims at attracting the best and brightest students in the world to pursue their PhD programs in Hong Kong’s institutions.

About 250 PhD Fellowships will be awarded this academic year to awardees who need more than three years to complete the PhD degree, additional support may be provided by the chosen institutions in any field of study.
