Application Process

  • No separate application is needed. On your application to Stevens, simply answer “yes” to the question: “Do you wish to be considered for a graduate fellowship?”
  • Deadline for fall semester: March 1.
  • Deadline for spring semester: October 1.

  • GRE/GMAT scores.
  • Exceptional academic performance as an undergraduate.
  • TOEFL scores for international applicants.

What is a provost fellowship?

Known as Provost fellows, these students may conduct a research project under the mentorship of a faculty member in either the summer or academic year (although hard science students must apply for the summer only).

What is provost doctoral assistantship?

Students selected for a position in this program will work up to 15-20 hours per week (550 total hours per academic year) for an academic department. In return, students will receive: An experiential learning and work opportunity for the entirety of their graduate program. 75% tuition assistance.

What is the provost’s scholarship at Stevens Institute of Technology?

The Provost Master’s Scholarship is offered to exceptional students entering Stevens to pursue a master’s degree on a full-time basis. This one-time tuition scholarship is awarded to qualified students at the time of their admission to Stevens.

Are predoctoral fellowships paid?

Predoctoral fellowships provide $30,000 per year for 12, 18 or 24 months. This award is intended solely as a stipend.
