Organized by UNESCO-TWAS in collaboration with the Lincei Academy and the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA), this fully funded exchange initiative allows eligible researchers with at least an MSc degree to spend up to three months at renowned Centers of Excellence in Trieste. Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants should not be over 40 years as of 31 December in the application year.
• Applicants must possess at least an MSc degree or a higher academic qualification.
• Also, candidates must be citizens of a least developed country.
• Similarly, applicants must have a research position within a least-developed country
• Preference is for research projects that line up with sustainability science.
• Applicants must return to their home country upon finishing their Fellowship in Italy.
• Moreover, women scientists should definitely apply for the TWAS research program in Italy.
• Applicants who are already present in the host country are not eligible for this program.
• Only applications within the specific scientific fields, as shown on the official website and the application form, will be considered.
