How does the selection process work?
A Selection Committee of faculty, alumni, outside practitioners, and the curator reviews applications and selects approximately 20 shortlisted applicants by the end of February. Shortlisted applicants have up to three interviews, and up to 10 Fellows are selected by mid-April, with notifications by the end of April.
Are there any application fees?
No. There is no fee to apply for the Loeb Fellowship.
What are Fellows expected to do during the Fellowship year?
Fellows must step away from significant professional roles during the Fellowship year, remain in residence in the Cambridge area while classes are in session, audit at least one GSD course per semester, attend weekly seminars and dinners, participate in study tours and retreats, and engage with students and faculty.
