Warwick PGR Scholarship 2027 in UK | Fully Funded

Warwick PGR Scholarship is a University of Warwick postgraduate research funding scheme for entry in October 2027 that provides fee payment and a tax-free maintenance stipend to support living costs. This single application considers candidates for multiple scholarship streams including Faculty Chancellors, Interdisciplinary Chancellors, AHRC Doctoral, Doctoral Access (Pathway and Sanctuary) and China Scholarship Council options.

Warwick PGR Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Apply for an eligible Postgraduate Research Course in at the University of Warwick to begin in October 2027. Eligible courses include: PhD, MPhil/PhD, EngD and the PhD stage of a combined course, e.g. 1+3 or 2+4.
  • Be starting in academic year 2027/28; scholarships cannot be deferred to a future academic year.

Can current postgraduate research students apply?

Current postgraduate research students are not eligible to apply for these scholarships. Each specific scheme reiterates that current postgraduate research students are not eligible, and applicants should be starting their eligible course in October 2027 in the 2027/28 academic year.

Are part-time applicants supported?

Yes. The scholarships offer full or part-time study options subject to visa requirements. Part-time funding is provided at 60% of the full rate with a proportionally longer funding period. Applicants should review visa implications and the related funding period adjustments.

What additional support is available for Sanctuary and Access applicants?
