Helmut Veith Scholarship supports female Master’s students in Computer Science who plan to pursue one of the English-taught Master’s programmes at TU Wien and who have or intend to develop a solid mathematical and technical background in areas related to Helmut Veith’s work.

The scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Professor Helmut Veith (1971–2016) and the fund is set up by TU Wien, the Wolfgang Pauli Institute and colleagues and friends of the late professor to support female master students in computer science.

Helmut Veith Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Female students in the field of computer science (CS) who (plan to) pursue one of the Master‘s programme in Computer Science at TU Wien taught in English and who have (or have the interest to develop) a solid mathematical and technical background in at least one of the areas in which Austrian scientist Helmut Veith worked, are invited to apply for the annually awarded Helmut Veith Stipend.
