AI Builder Cup Scholarship 2026 in Singapore | Fully Funded

The AI Builder Cup is an open invitation to developers in the Asia-Pacific region to build solutions on Google Cloud for real-world problems. Teams form, build prototypes, and submit them for evaluation; the most promising entries advance to an in-person Grand Finale in Singapore.

The program is organised and independently operated by Hack2skill and sponsored by Google Cloud. Google Cloud contributes technical expertise access and educational resources, while Hack2skill runs the initiative and manages registrations and the evaluation process.

This edition is open to working professionals only; students are not eligible and may be disqualified if found to be team members. The program is targeted at participants from the JAPAC region and requires entrants to meet the age and professional eligibility noted on the site.

Teams can consist of 1 to 4 members. If a team is shortlisted for the Grand Finale, only two members will travel to Singapore for the live demo day as stated in the roadmap to Singapore.

Registration and team formation run from 1 Sept – 30 Sept, 2026; prototype building and submission is 7 Sept – 3 Oct, 2026. The registration, team formation & prototype submission deadline is Oct 4, 2026. Evaluation runs Oct 5 – Nov 6, 2026; finalists announced Nov 7, 2026; Grand Finale on Dec 4, 2026.

The program features a total cash prize pool of USD 30,000 as advertised in the overview and CTA bar. Additional benefits for shortlisted teams include sponsored to-and-fro travel to the Demo Day in Singapore.

The Grand Finale — Demo Day — will be held in Singapore on December 4, 2026. Shortlisted teams from across the JAPAC region are invited to demo their solutions live in front of Google Cloud and industry experts.

Submissions must be built on Google Cloud. The overview and roadmap specify building a working prototype on Google Cloud that addresses a chosen problem statement before the submission deadline.

Every submission is reviewed and scored against the judging criteria during the Evaluation Phase (Oct 5 – Nov 6, 2026). The official site states that submissions are reviewed and scored, with the most potential solutions moving on to the in-person finale.
