The UNIDROIT Scholarship programme offers outstanding post-graduate law students, lawyers, academics and government officials the chance to conduct research at the UNIDROIT library in Rome, Italy. Scholars receive a monthly stipend of 1500€ for two to three months and may be invited to deliver a workshop on their research topic.

UNIDROIT, the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law, is an independent intergovernmental organisation based in Rome. Its mission is to modernise, harmonise and coordinate private and commercial law between states. The scholarship programme has hosted nearly 400 researchers from 65 countries over the past 25 years.
