Lester B. Pearson Scholarship Benefits

Lester B. Pearson Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

• All international students can apply.
• The applicant must not be a Canadian national.
• An international student who has a high school in Canada can also apply.
• The applicant must be nominated by the school or college.
• The applicant must be a current student in the final year of secondary school.
• In case the applicant is graduated from high school, the graduation should not be earlier than June 2026.
• The applicants must have applied to study at the University of Toronto.
• The applicants must not have started their post-secondary studies at any institute.
• The applicant must be a first-entry graduate.

How to Apply for Lester B. Pearson Scholarship

• Apply for an undergraduate program at the University of Toronto for September 2027 entry.
• Ask your high school to nominate you for the Lester B. Pearson International Student Scholarship. Each participating school can nominate one student per year.
• If your high school has not participated in the program before, it must first apply to join the Pearson Scholarship program before nominating a student.
• Apply for admission to the University of Toronto. You may select up to three undergraduate programs, but if you receive the Pearson Scholarship, it will be awarded for your first-choice program at the time scholarship decisions are made.
• After your school nominates you and you submit your University of Toronto application, you will receive a personalized and secure link to the Pearson Scholarship application.
• Complete the online Pearson Scholarship application and submit all required documents before the official deadline
