The Chevron Nigeria Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded undergraduate award for Nigerian students. This NNPC Limited/Chevron JV National University Scholarship supports academic excellence and educational development among Nigerian undergraduates in accredited universities nationwide.

Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) operates the NNPC/CNL Joint Venture and has announced the 2026 scholarship scheme. The program aims to promote educational development and support academic excellence among Nigerian undergraduate students in accredited universities nationwide.

Eligibility Criteria for the Chevron Nigeria Scholarship 2026

  • Full-time SECOND YEAR (200 Level) students enrolled in any accredited Nigerian university
  • Admitted during the 2024/2025 academic session
  • Studying one of the eligible disciplines: Accountancy, Agricultural Science, Architecture, Business Administration/Economics, Computer Science, Environmental Studies/Surveying, Geology/Geophysics/Geo Informatics, Law, Mass Communication/Journalism, Engineering, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Medicine/Surgery
  • Possess a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 on a 5.0 grading scale
  • Have at least six (6) O’Level credits obtained in one sitting
  • For Special Needs Category (Blind/Visually Impaired): Provide valid medical certification of visual impairment, possess a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 5.0 grading scale, have at least five (5) O’Level credits
  • Applicants under this scheme are not eligible to apply for other scholarship programmes sponsored by Chevron Nigeria Limited, its Joint Venture partners, or affiliates, including the Agbami Medical & Engineering Professionals Scholarship (AMEPS)
  • Current beneficiaries of International Oil and Gas scholarship schemes are not eligible to apply
  • Agbami scholarship applicants are not allowed to apply for this scheme

How to Apply for the Chevron Nigeria Scholarship 2026

  • Click on ‘Apply Now’ tab
  • Click on ‘Register Now’ to create an account
  • Proceed to your email box to activate your account
  • Return to the scholarship site and enter your registered email and password to upload your information
  • Enter your personal information, National Identification Number (if available), educational information, other information and upload required scanned documents
  • Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in same order. Upload a sworn affidavit or certificate if otherwise
  • Ensure you view all documents after uploading, to eliminate errors during uploading
  • When asked to upload photo, upload a passport photograph with a white background
  • Recheck application information to avoid errors
  • Return to ‘Active Scholarships’ and click on the scheme you wish to apply and click ‘Apply Now’ to submit information
  • You will receive a notification displayed on the screen and via email that you have successfully applied
  • Return to www.scholastica.ng, enter your Email and Password to download your profile and proceed to have your Head of Department sign the document
  • Upload a scanned copy of the signed profile, this would be used for verification
  • If National Identification Number (NIN) was not available, obtain your NIN and update application

I am a current scholarship beneficiary from an International Oil and Gas Company; do I still need to apply?

No. Current beneficiaries of International Oil and Gas scholarship schemes are expected to benefit from only one scholarship scheme. Hence, are not eligible to apply to this scheme.

I applied for the Agbami scholarship scheme, can I apply for this scheme?

No. Agbami scholarship applicants are not allowed to apply for this scheme as clearly stated in the ‘Eligibility Requirements’ instructions.

What do I major in to apply for the scholarship?

Do I need to be accepted into a particular institution, before I apply for the scholarships?

Once you submit your online application form you will be sent an automated email acknowledging receipt of your application.

What happens to my online application?

Applications are stored in a database; after the closing date they are evaluated and a shortlist is compiled of qualified applicants. Applicants who did not qualify for the scholarship will be notified at the end of the scholarship campaign.
