The ASEF Capacity Building Program 2026 in China is a fully funded international training opportunity organized by the Asia-Europe Foundation. It aims to empower young leaders, civil society representatives, policymakers, and gender advocates from Asia and Europe to strengthen their knowledge and skills to advance gender equality and increase women’s participation in leadership and decision-making processes. The program will take place in Kunming, China, from 7 to 9 September 2026.

The training is hosted by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Yunnan Province and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) promotes understanding between Asia and Europe through intellectual, cultural, and people-to-people exchanges.
