MBA Excellence Scholarship 2026 in UK

The MBA Excellence Scholarship is a competitive award offered by Nottingham Business School to outstanding UK and international candidates. It provides up to half the tuition fee for eligible MBA programmes, aiming to recognise individuals who demonstrate ambition, leadership, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.

Eligible courses are the Master of Business Administration (MBA), Global Executive Master of Business Administration (GEMBA), and Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) offered by Nottingham Business School. Applicants must have an offer of a place on one of these courses before applying.

The deadlines are Wednesday 25 February, Wednesday 22 April, and Wednesday 24 June, all at 16:00 BST. Applications received after a deadline are considered for the next deadline. Applications after the final deadline are not considered.

Complete the online application form and select one of NTU’s strategic themes: Creating Opportunity, Valuing Ideas, or Sustainability and Enriching Society. You must have an offer of a place on an eligible course and an NTU ID number before submitting. Each candidate may apply only once.

The scholarship is worth up to half the value of your tuition fee, awarded as a tuition fee reduction. The maximum is 50% of your tuition fee. For part-time students, the fee is adjusted proportionally at the start of each academic year.

Applicants must have an offer on an eligible MBA course, be due to enrol in September 2026, and be starting a new postgraduate course. Students receiving sponsorship from government or a funding body are not eligible. Current NTU students cannot apply unless progressing onto a new postgraduate course.

If you are awarded any other scholarship, bursary, or tuition fee reduction from NTU, you will only be eligible for the higher award, except for Sport Scholarships or the Alumni discount if combined awards are not higher than 50% of your first year’s tuition fees.

The scholarship is not transferable and will not be awarded if you defer your entry to a different start date or transfer to a different course. You must re-apply for the scholarship for your new course if it is still available.

Applicants will be informed whether they have been awarded a scholarship within four weeks of the application deadline date. The decision is made by an awarding committee and all decisions are final.

If awarded, you may be asked to become a student ambassador or appear in marketing materials. Your name and course may be printed in the Scholarships Awards Celebration Programme. You can opt out by emailing [email protected].
