  • The ICIQ Fellowship welcomes undergraduate students with a background in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Biology, or related fields. 
  • However, candidates from other disciplines cannot apply. 
  • In addition, applicants should ideally be in their 3rd year or final year of undergraduate studies, or have completed at least 50% of their credits when starting the fellowship. 
  • Furthermore, graduate students are not eligible for the ICIQ Summer Fellowship in Spain. 
  • Similarly, non-EU nationals must arrange their own medical insurance, while EU nationals should obtain a European Health Insurance card before arrival, which is free in their home country. 
  • Moreover, applicants must be available to start their fellowship in one of ICIQ’s research groups. 
  • Finally, at the end of the ICIQ Summer Fellowship Programme, summer fellows must prepare and deliver a concise report and presentation, explaining their project’s objectives, methodologies, and outcomes.
