  • Annual stipend at UKRI rates (£15,609 in 2021/22)
  • Annual tuition fees at UKRI Home or Overseas rates
  • The Abdulrazak Gurnah Doctoral Scholarship will cover Overseas fees, while the Migration and Movement Doctoral Scholarship will cover Home fees only, including for those with UK settled or pre-settled status.

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible for this University of Kent Migration and Movement Signature Research Theme PhD Scholarship.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Available for pursuing a PhD degree program in the field of Frustrated Magnetic Materials at the university.
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants to a PhD programme should normally hold a good Honours degree (First or 2:1) and a Master’s Degree (at Merit or Distinction) in a relevant discipline from an internationally recognised institution, or equivalent experience in a professional setting.
