Introduction

The University of Derby is offering the international awards for the academic year 2020-21. These opportunities are available to apply for once you have received an offer on a course from the university. With the program, students will receive a reduction in their fees during the first year of study.

Applicants will need to achieve high academic results exceeding the entry criteria for the course and demonstrate excellence in an extracurricular activity, either in your own time or through your employment in the last two years in your personal statement.

These opportunities are available to apply for once you have received an offer on a course from the University.
Nationality: International students are eligible to apply. International students from countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) and outside the European Union (EU)
College Admission Requirement: Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have a previous degree. Test Requirement: No

  • IELTS: 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all areas).
  • Pearson Test of Academic English: 51
  • Cambridge English Scale: B2
  • London Tests of English: we accept level 4 for undergraduate courses
  • International GCE O Level English Language: Grade C
  • International GCSE English or English as a Second Language: Grade C.

Postgraduate courses:

  • IELTS: 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all areas).
