The purpose of the program is to promote the relationship between plants, microbes and herbivores, and their environment, as well as the evolutionary and behavioral consequences of these interactions.

Job description

An excellent research environment in the institute, a structured training program, including supervision and scientific courses by a thesis committee, participation in training and research seminar in transferable and outreach skills.
Looking for a highly motivated and independent PhD student who is trained in molecular biology and analytical chemistry, who is also deeply interested in the ecology of pest-plant interaction. The work will include a combination of field experiments and molecular analyses in the lab.

Eligibility

Applicants must have a masters or equivalent degree in one of the following areas or should be: Entomology, Neurobiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Plant Physiology, Genetics, Ecology, Evolutionary Biology, Bioinformatics, and Mathematics and Computer Science.
