Introduction

MIT SolvED Innovation Challenge by MIT is accepting solutions! SolvED is a platform that ignites a sense of agency in youth because young people of this generation hold the strength, power, and empathy to make their voices heard in communities and societies. The main objective of SolvED is to inspire, support and encourage youth to use their minds to come up with better solutions to problems that disrupt the world.

Thousands of children are subject to child labor instead of going to schools, climatic changes have caused havoc in various parts of the world. The economic gap between countries is more significant than ever. The pandemic that erupted in 2019 has changed the natural social and economic systems, and the world has yet to recover. All these problems and many more need and require solutions urgently. SolvED encourages people to solve such issues by using their brilliant minds, making a difference in this world, and coming up for the SolvED innovation challenge.
