The International Excellence/Achievement Scholarship at University of Birmingham are awarded to overseas undergraduate students who apply to study Chemical Engineering in recognition of academic excellence. All eligible students will receive an Achievement Scholarship at University of Birmingham of £1,500 or £3,000, respectively.
During the degree programme, those whose performance is judged to be excellent will also be eligible for the First Class Scholarship which is worth £1,500 per year, providing the student proceeds normally to the next level with an average >70%. Therefore, the best students could receive a total of £7,500 over a four year degree.
Achievement Scholarship at University of Birmingham are worth £1,500 and are awarded to those who achieve A*AA at A level or equivalent. Excellence Scholarships are worth £3,000 and are awarded to those who achieve A*A*A at A level or equivalent. To retain the First Class Scholarship, students must continue to perform at first class level – ie they must achieve an average mark of at least 70% at the end of each year.
Scholars cannot be in receipt of a fully-funded fees scholarship from an external body. Part-funded students should contact to Admissions Tutor for further information with regards to eligibility.
