Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible for this Edith Cowan University International Scholarship.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Doctoral research program at the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child, based at the Centre’s Edith Cowan University node, in each of the three key program areas: Healthy Child; Educated Child; and Connected Child.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must completion of a Bachelor’s degree with Honours or a Master’s by Research degree in an area associated with the relevant program area; Research level English language proficiency (for international applicants, where applicable.

    • Selected Digital Child program (Educated Child: learning in diverse settings, or digital technology design to inform learning; or active learning and play in the digital world; Connected Child: data analytics and the digital child; or children online; or commercialisation and the digital child; Healthy Child: existing digital health literacy tool project)
  • A brief ½ page statement outlining your experience researching or working in the area of children and/or digital technology
  • A brief ½ page statement of your interest in conducting research with the ARC Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child
  • Admission Requirements:  For taking admission, you are required to meet the academic entry requirements of Edith Cowan University.
  • Language Requirement: You will need to demonstrate your English competency to enter any of the courses.
