The objective of the Canterbury Health and Education Foundation Scholarships 2020 is to support and encourage students with excellent academic merit and possess an outgoing personality enrolled to study at the University of Kent.

• The successful applicants of the Canterbury Health and Education Foundation Scholarships in UK will receive an award of £5,000 for one year only.

To be eligible for Canterbury Health and Education Foundation Scholarships in UK, applicants must fulfil the following requirements.

• The Canterbury Health and Education Foundation Scholarships 2020 is open only to UK nationals.
• Applicants must demonstrate strong commitment and academic performance.
• Students who can access Student Loan Company (SLC) finance, but continue to have economic hardship & students who cannot access SLC finance are eligible.
• All the progression requirements and program-specific criteria must be met by the students.
• The student must have accepted an offer from the Kent and Medway Medical School. Applicable courses are -Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery.

• Applicant must submit a 500 words essay and the topic is -'Why I am suitable for the Canterbury Health and Education Foundation scholarship’ 
• Documents to support financial status
• Letters of support from a social worker, teacher, doctor, minister of religion.
