Maggie was a Goodwill employee who came to work for us right out of high school. She developed many skills while at Goodwill and eventually became our receptionist. Maggie left this world in 1988 while in her early 30’s. Her parents created this scholarship in her honor for students with disabilities who want to further their educational goals. It is their way of paying it forward. Maggie represents individuals who overcome obstacles to achieve their goals and many years ago, was recognized for her outstanding achievements by then-Governor Charles Thone.
